This past year was the Inaugural season for Girls High School Wrestling in Iowa. After years of growth the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) sanctioned the sport in 2022. Beyond the Lines looks at how the sport got to the point of sanctioning and what the first year was like for Dubuque area wrestlers.
